ShareBold Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

At ShareBold (accessible from https://sharebold.com), our mission is to empower individuals, creators, and teams with fast, frictionless, and secure cloud file sharing. To preserve a safe and trusted ecosystem for all users, we strictly enforce this Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP").

By uploading, transferring, storing, or receiving files through ShareBold, you agree to comply strictly with the terms outlined below. Violation of this policy results in immediate content removal, cryptographic file shredding, permanent suspension of account access, IP blocking, and, where appropriate, referral to legal and law enforcement authorities.

1. Strictly Prohibited Content

You may NOT upload, transmit, link to, or distribute any file, archive, code, or payload that contains, promotes, or facilitates any of the following:

• Malware, Ransomware & Malicious Software: Any executable or script containing computer viruses, trojans, worms, keyloggers, rootkits, ransomware, spyware, backdoors, botnet command-and-control (C2) binaries, or automated browser hijackers. Packaging malware inside password-protected ZIP archives to evade detection is strictly banned.
• Copyright Infringement & Intellectual Property Theft: Unauthorized copies of commercial movies, television shows, copyrighted music tracks, proprietary commercial software, video games, cracked software licenses, key generators ("keygens"), or proprietary training materials without express written authorization from the rights holder.
• Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) & Exploitation: ShareBold maintains an absolute zero-tolerance policy regarding Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) or any form of child sexual exploitation. Any detected upload or attempt to distribute CSAM results in instant termination, cryptographic preservation of evidence, and immediate reporting to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and local law enforcement.
• Phishing, Fraud & Deceptive Schemes: Fake login portals, credential harvesting HTML forms, invoice fraud attachments, fake lottery checks, deceptive software installers, impersonation of financial institutions, or misleading link descriptions designed to defraud recipients.
• Violent Extremism, Hate Speech & Threats: Material promoting terrorist organizations, violent hate groups, self-harm or suicide instruction manuals, instructions on manufacturing illicit weapons or explosives, targeted harassment, stalking, or non-consensual sharing of intimate images ("revenge porn").
• Doxxing & Unauthorized Personally Identifiable Information (PII): Files containing leaked personal databases, stolen credit card numbers, passwords, social security numbers, confidential medical records, or government identity documents published without authorization.

2. System Integrity, Infrastructure & Fair Use

ShareBold infrastructure is designed to serve high-volume legitimate file transfers fairly and reliably. You agree NOT to engage in any activity that compromises platform performance, security, or availability:

• No Denial of Service (DoS/DDoS): Flooding upload endpoints, triggering excessive bandwidth exhaustion, or attacking platform infrastructure.
• No Brute-Forcing: Running automated dictionaries, scripts, or botnets against 4-digit pairing codes or secret transfer PINs.
• No Bot Crawling & Scraping: Scraping private share endpoints, enumerating file codes, or extracting user metadata without prior written authorization.
• No Exploitation of Server Resources: Using ShareBold storage drives as automated remote cryptocurrency mining caches or staging nodes for cyberattacks.
• No Bypassing Transfer Limits: Circumventing file size boundaries, expiration constraints, or account rate limits via rotating proxies or headers.

3. Fair Use & Link Sharing Integrity Guidelines

Users sharing public or private links through ShareBold must adhere to ethical digital distribution practices:

• No Deceptive Link Wrapping: Shared download links must not mislead recipients regarding the actual payload delivered or use misleading bait titles.
• No Spam or Unsolicited Campaigns: Links must not be distributed via unsolicited email spam, forum spamming, social media bot comments, or malicious iframe injections.
• No Automated Bulk Distribution: Automated bulk downloading, aggressive scraping bots, or deliberate bandwidth saturation of download infrastructure is strictly prohibited.

4. Automated Defense Systems & Enforcement Actions

While ShareBold honors user privacy and does not mine or inspect lawful file content, we deploy automated heuristic defenses to protect platform integrity:

• Known Hash Matching: Uploaded payloads are matched against cryptographic hashes of known malicious signatures and CSAM databases.
• Immediate Content Shredding: Any file identified as violating this policy is instantly terminated and cryptographically scrubbed from our storage drives.
• Account Termination: Repeated or severe violations result in immediate, permanent ban of associated Google accounts and forfeiture of unpaid balances.
• Law Enforcement Collaboration: ShareBold cooperates fully with legitimate law enforcement requests and will provide server audit logs, timestamps, and IP addresses when mandated by valid court orders.
