1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ShareBold (accessible at https://sharebold.com), creating an account, uploading files, or utilizing our link sharing network, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the platform.

2. Eligibility & Account Registration

You must be at least 13 years of age (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use ShareBold. You may use ShareBold as a guest without registration or log in via Google OAuth. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Acceptable Use & Prohibited Content

ShareBold is committed to maintaining a safe, law-abiding platform. You agree that you will NOT upload, host, distribute, or link to any content that:

• Violates local, state, national, or international laws or regulations.
• Infringes on copyrights, trademarks, patents, trade secrets, or intellectual property rights of any third party.
• Contains malware, ransomware, viruses, Trojan horses, keyloggers, or malicious executable files.
• Depicts non-consensual sexual content, explicit adult material (18+), or illegal child exploitation material.
• Promotes hate speech, violent extremism, harassment, self-harm, or illegal activities.
• Engages in phishing scams, deceptive software installers, or fraudulent link schemes.

Violations result in immediate content termination, permanent IP blocking, and reporting to law enforcement authorities where appropriate.

4. Intellectual Property & DMCA Copyright Policy

ShareBold respects intellectual property rights and adheres to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). Content creators or authorized agents who identify infringing material may submit a formal takedown request to copyright@sharebold.com including the specific 4-digit code or URL, proof of ownership, and physical/electronic signature. Valid notices are processed expeditiously.

5. Ephemeral File Storage & Data Retention

ShareBold provides temporary file transfer services. Unless extended through an active subscription tier, uploads are subject to automatic expiration (ranging from 24 hours to 7 days). Once expired, files are cryptographically erased and cannot be restored. Senders are advised to maintain local backups of all uploaded files.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

ShareBold is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind. Under no circumstances shall ShareBold, its operators, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from lost files, transfer disruptions, or unauthorized data access.
